“We were scheduled for this tour in March, 2020. The country closed down due to Covid. The tour was cancelled. Smartours did not refund any of my full payment for the trip. They cannot be reached. Do not use this company. They are not reputable.”

“My husband and I and several lucky members of our tour returned from Morocco on the last flight out of Casablanca to NY before the Moroccan government closed its borders because of the Coronavirus. Our tour was scheduled to be completed that day so we were able to experience Majestic Morocco in all its beauty, including our tour guide, Aziz Silmani. He is one of the very best tour guides we have ever had on the ten tours we have taken with Smartours. I can simply describe him as a gentleman and a scholar. He was so patient, kind, caring and thought only of our happiness and well being. I must say, it was a great group of people as well. Everyone was cooperative and respectful of each other. It was a wonderful tour although our families and friends texted and emailed about the increasingly stressful circumstances at home. I hope, when travel is open again, that when you choose this tour, you get to experience Aziz as your tour guide.”

“'Magnificent Morocco' was outstanding in every way. The quality of hotels, the itinerary, and all that was included outdid my expectations. Our tour director Khalid Lamdira provided useful and enjoyable information and responded helpfully to every request. This trip was not only a terrific value but a fabulous life experience. In a comfortable bus (well-driven!) we passed lovely scenery, from lush farmlands to the Sahara (and camel ride!) to high mountain forests with monkeys. In towns, we visited historical, artistic, and archeological sites, guided expertly by Khalid. Shopping is great, both in the traditional souks and places specializing in local argon oil, rose products, silver, carpets, and leather. Members of our group had different reasons for joining this tour--or no reason beyond adventure--and all enjoyed the experience. I'd been to Morocco before and was enticed by the smarTours itinerary as a way to see what I missed previously. That goal was more than fulfilled, along with revisiting perennial wonders of Morocco. Highly recommended!”

“Just got back from Morocco; we were blessed with excellent weather to enjoy the magnificent scenery this country offers.Our tour director Khalid Lamdira was phenomenal. His skills to run a smooth trip, his amazing knowledge and insights, his care for our safety, compassion and sense of humor were superb. He made our trip a real pleasure. The optional tours were worth taking. There were a couple of days with very long bus rides. I realize the distances are enormous since Morocco is larger than Texas and we were covering a lot of places. Perhaps, as a suggestion, add a day or two to the tour to break these long bus rides.Lili R-C.”
