“The best adventure/lifestyle sunglasses out there! This is my third pair of the lowdown xl 2. Lens clarity is crisp and they look/feel great on the face. Just wish they sent a beefier case instead of the microfiber sack with a $200+ pair of sunglasses!”

“Love the chromapop lenses. Frame material seems cheap compared to my Maui Jim’s and Oakleys. Wish they had spring hinges because the ends of the arms turn in very abruptly - perhaps to help them stay on one’s head. Also, the progressive Rx is only at the bottom 3/8” of the lens (that will take some getting use to. Overall, I love the size of the frames and the lenses. In closing, I can see why these are so much more affordable than the Coata glasses. There is a big difference in the frame material, hinges and lack of material at the arm ends. That being said, I have used them twice on the river and they are awesome for seeing fish. I would buy them again for the price.”

“I replaced a pair of the exact glasses and they just seem darker. The frames although matte tortoise appear black unless in direct light. Not so with the previous pair.”
“These sunglasses (prescription for me) are not great. The “green” lenses are more of a brown color, the size is massive (I have a large head, wearing xl hats and helmets), I can see reflections in the lenses from stuff behind me, and the lenses scratch extremely easily (seems all Smith glasses struggle here). I got these as a backup pair for my other Maui prescription glasses, but ended up getting another pair of Maui for that role as these are simply NOT good.”
