“I got them last year as soon as they hit the site, and I've had them for just under a year now.
The clear lens makes them absolutely perfect for MTB, and the blackout are incredible for spring days on the slopes. They look awesome too, everyone seems to say something about how fun and awesome they are.
I can't say enough about these things, I'm definitely gonna be grabbing another pair! They're my favourite eyewear for all my activities.”

“These glasses are simply great. Functional and extremely effective for both road cycling, MTBing, and CX racing; although I primarily use them for road riding and racing. For these glasses, the thing that stands out most to me is the field of view. Large coverage glasses are in fashion (Egan Bernal, Peter Sagan, etc.) and these fit that bill as well. Absolutely nothing gets in my eyes or under the lenses; whether in dry, dusty conditions, or snowy, slushy weather. The provided lenses (for the Matte Iron - ChromaPop Ignitor and Clear) are excellent both in terms of visual clarity in a range of lighting conditions and durability, to the extent that after three months of heavy use, I can't find any significant scratches or blemishes on the lenses or frame. I haven't used any of their reflective finish lenses yet, but have them on order, so I can't testify to their fidelity. The frames are banging. Look killer and hug my face well without feeling like a noticable presence on my noggin'. In fact, with the clear lenses, the FOV is so large that I have, literally, forgot where my glasses were, as I was wearing them. When it comes to putting in efforts on busy roads, in all lighting conditions, unobstructed peripherals are vital and these glasses 100% provide that. The arms are long enough and stiff enough that they can hang out in a helmet all day (specifically a Bontrager WaveCel Specter, which isn't know for its ability to hang onto glasses, to say the least). The glasses don't feel oppressive on the face, even when your heart rate is at 205 bpm and it's a sauna outside. They don't have any brow contact, so they won't channel sweat, but the ventilation is on point, allowing for plenty of cross-flow, without getting debris under the lenses. Out of the box, the lenses aren't super weather resistant, but one treatment with RainX and they're cooking! Lense swaps are easy-peasy and the frame and lenses hold up to everyday life. I've been changing lenses three times a day due to commuting and training schedules, and the quality of the components haven't flinched. The only thing that might be lacking overall, compared to it's competitors - specifically the Oakley Sutro - is that the Oakley's are a small tad better in terms of their lense clarity, in my opinion, and the ChromaPop lenses, while awesome, aren't the best out there (but that's largely subjective for modern lenses). Rocking these off the bike are pretty dope too, especially in winter and with wacky hair. If you're looking for a really robust, and seriously stylish pair of specs, these are one of the best candidates out there, especially for road cycling, MTBing, and/or CX riding!”
“I am pretty stoked on these glasses already! They have great coverage while also allowing solid peripheral vision which is very important for me. I like how versatile they are as well, and I wear the Wildcat for biking, hiking/running, and even flying as I am training to be a pilot. The ChromaPop lens are so nice and really change the optic game. Really excited about this purchase and yet another great product by Smith.”

“I really like the look and feel of these - lightweight, great coverage, comfortable. I have 2 rides with them and have had some issue with the glasses sliding down my nose. I have been playing with the adjustable nose piece, but i think the arms may be a little short so don't provide a super snug fit on temples/behind ears. Hopefully I can figure out a way to make them stay up on my face better and these will be great. Would like to see a lens with a lighter tint for shaded riding.”
“I love wearing goggles for mountain biking for the wide field of vision and eye protection they offer, but in hot and humid conditions even the best breathing ones can get uncomfortable. When I saw the Smith Wildcats were released I decided to give them a try. They are fantastic, they provide the full coverage of a goggle without the sweaty mess that comes with wearing a goggle in 80 degree heat. They stay firmly planted on my (slim) face and don't get rattled and provide a great field of view. I'm looking forward to more lens tints being released soon.
My husband is also rocking Wildcats and loves that they do not dry out his eyes when he wears contacts.”
