“These were listed as supposedly being no distortion but with my prescription the distortion was awful. Luckily Smith has an excellent return policy and accepted them on return with no hassle and I purchased a different pair of frames that worked out beautifully. I think these particular frames are nice but better to get them not in RX and wear contacts with them. Too much wrap around on the frame/lens curvature to be effective with prescription. I don't even have that crazy of a correction and it is only single vision and these still didn't work out well. I'm happy with Smith but these particular frames were a no go for me.”

“Great glasses. Can see things in the water you can’t with other glasses. Seems better made than other high end glasses. My only complaint is the fit. Don’t have a lot of options to try on to find best fit. I did find a pair that fit perfectly but when I went to order I was told they discontinued the pair I wanted and suggested these as a replacement. They don’t fit as good as the Captain’s Choice that I originally ordered.”

“Bought these to replace a pair of (name another high quality brand) and could not be more satisfied with the fit, effectiveness, and sturdy nature of the glasses. I first saw these fly fishing with a guide on the Green River and thought I would give them a try. LOVE.”
“My Original Guide Choice Rx Sunglasses, 20-30 yr a Beautiful and useful fishing and Driving glasses made obsolete by Cataract surgery and a Play toy by our Samoyeds are no longer repairable by Smith. New Guide Choice Rx Sunglasses have a slighter frame and arms than older sunglasses. Lenses seem good! Need to go fishing with them to note any difference. No landyard or croakers included. Then a 2nd Guide Choice, different Rx arrived not ordered and returning.”
“I've had the same Costa sunglasses for 10+ years. Obviously they held up over time. When I received a new prescription, I somehow found Smith. I find these glasses to be excellent. I mean, the optical quality is fantastic, the glasses are light weight. The time it took to receive the glasses was fantastic and the price, compared with Costa, was nearly half.
I really wish I could have tried different sizes and styles but I think I got exactly what I needed.
Time will tell how the glasses hold up but I have high hopes and it looks like I can afford to get new glasses in less than 10 years. Great product, I'll stand by Smith.”
