“I love this mount setup. The kit is solid and flexible enough that a variety of lights will mount to it. Easy to adjust light position. Only thing that I could see improved on is the light mount engagement with the helmet mount. On rides where it starts out light and gets dark, I tend not to want to have the extra weight on my head/neck so I don't mount the helmet light until I have to. This has proved very difficult to do while riding, but is simple once stopped.”
“No helmet has ever fit my head so well. I think I could crash my bike without this helmet buckled and it would stay on my head. It fits so well I can hardly tell it's there until I start to pedal for a while and realize that it is not letting any air through. Litterally, the Koroyd material really doesn't let air move through it well. If you are someone who needs a cool head, this helmet isn't for you. But if you run on the cool side, it would be great.
I also wish it had an attachment for my Niterider headlamp. you can buy an attachment for a light and motion and go-pro but how about the the others?? Because of the venting problems and the inability to strap velcro mounts for my light on the helmet, I haven't yet figured out a way to mount my niterider on this helmet.”
“I do a fair amount of nighttime mtn biking. I use cheap Cree lights from Amazon and they fit great on the light in motion mount (I've found them to be as bright or brighter than any other biking lights and at a 10th of the cost). Also works great with a GoPro for a first person view. My only complaint would be there needs to be a way to clip the power cord for a light. On fast descents it often falls forward.”
