“Nice sound . My only issue is moving to back tracks via 3 taps is quite erratic often failing or moving to the next forward tact . Two taps however works quite well moving the tracks forward .”
“Sound is decent. Easy to pair. Long battery life. App from Aleck is terrible. but I never use it. But what is super frustrating that an iPhone won't read you your texts since they are not Apple licensed. You just get the alert sound. So you need to pull your phone out of your pocket to interact with Siri or to read your texts. They work fine on an Android.”
“These Smith x Alec’s Nunchucks seem to do the job, but I have not actually tried them out for skiing and the instructions need a bit of work. It took me a while to get the speakers to pair with my iPhone.”
“I had a horrible experience with the nunchucks, 1 set arrived and didn't work, tried to get them replaced, was told i bought them online at a reseller, (not the case bought from Smith direct), they don't even know where the orders come from and they generate the order number.
I am still working on this, i want to return both pairs i ordered i don't want anything to do with the nunchucks. my recommendation to Smith, stick with what you know (not electronics)
Still working on resolution....”

“Love the Aleck Nunchucks for communication while on the mountain and in the backcountry. Fitted for my Smith helmet makes it an see easy integration.”

“I bought these as a replacement for a “lost”
Pair of a competitors speakers. Right away you could tell the difference. They feel better, shape and weight wise. They connect incredibly easily and the sound, wow! The sound is insane! So much much clearer than the others. The buttons are very user friendly and work well with gloves or mittens. I used them for a week of riding in Utah, only charged them because I remembered to bring my helmet in on the coldest night. Batteries are solid, they lasted longer than my old set. They are thinner by design and don’t cause your ear pads to push uncomfortably against your ears. I found my old set when I got home from my trip…. I gave them to a friend. I’ll be buying these for the family and replacing their OM & WH sets….
Worth the purchase, most definitely.”
