I was experiencing an unusual pounding heart beat that would pause then beat very hard so that I could feel an unusual pulse in my neck and mouth. My wife the RN took my pulse and when her eyebrows went up I knew some thing wasn’t right ! She called my cardiologist for the next day asking for an EKG to be done. I went to the appointment and the receptionist said that the appointment was for next week! I had heard that the Apple Watch could monitor one’s heart including EKG so I searched For information and found it wasn’t ready but there were other possibilities. I ordered the EKGraph, received it in 2 days . I found it easy to use, I have an iPhone 6+ ,I turned on blue tooth in settings, holding the on button for 3 seconds, turned on the EKGRaph. It took a few tries to hold it properly. The graph is orange until it gets a steady beat then it turns green and recorded for 10 seconds then read “No Abnormalities” - I selected Sync which linked through blue tooth to my iPhone, then I printed my first EKG! My RN wife was skeptical but after reviewing it she liked it but said let’s see what the cardiologist says . For the next three days I practiced using the device and became quite proficient at it and printed several EKGs to bring to the office with me. when the doctor looked at them he couldn’t believe that I had printed my own EKG with this diminutive device and we compared it to the real EKG that he performed a12 lead EKG and it was quite close to the professionally done EKG! I take my own blood pressure and have a pulse Oximeter and I feel more confident being able to check for arrhythmia and the 12 other test results this device performs and keeps a record of each test. At first my Cardiologist was skeptical but after checking my printouts he seemed to warm to the idea that a patient could produce his own EKG however he said Do not use email because of Hippa privacy over an insecure Internet .

After researching ecg units, it became quickly apparent the ECGraph would fulfill my needs for fast, accurate and portable ecg recordings. I particularly was pleased the unit offered Bluetooth functionality and unlimited storage through the software. The four lead readings you are able to take (fingers/palms, chest, wrist and ankle) provide more info that can be used by your physician. As they are constantly working to improve the unit and the software, I expect a long service life with this very reasonably priced unit. A great product.

I've used several oximeters in the past, but really wanted to see more detail about what was going heart-wise, and for it to actually be able to record it. This unit seems to do a good job of that. Likes: Product arrived fast and seems to work well (for the most part). At this price point, you'd be hard pressed to find anything that does a better job. Could use improvement: The unit works fine on me, though it won't on my spouse. We have tried everything thinkable to get a consistent reading and it just won't sync with her. It might be nice if they had some silicone leads that you could buy as an accessory? I was unable to get the unit to sync with my S7. I tried for over an hour. It did however sync with my ipad just fine. I have lots of Bluetooth devices and rarely have an issue like this. Not sure what is going on here, though the ipad is fine for now. It would also be nice if the unit supported multiple "users". When syncing the data it transfers everything and there is no way to know who's was who's. I have a BP monitor and it lets you pick the user and keeps the data separate. Dislikes: I don't like being forced to register an account and username/email to sync the app with my device! They should rethink this, it is very annoying.

Bought the EKGraph because I was having some unexplained instances of high heart rate. I wanted to have something small and portable that I could keep with me to monitor my heart rate more accurately. The device is super simple to use. The reading is quick and the syncing to the iPhonr is quick and easy. I keep it in my pocket and take readings throughout the day. Battery life is great.

I have used the EKGraph. It appears to work well in picking up a heart tracing. As a physician I was looking for a very portable way to immediately check someone’s heart tracing when out away from my office and equipment. I have had people come to me and say “my heart is racing” and taking their pulse was just not giving me the information I needed. The EKGraph appears to fill that need. It is extremely portable. The resulting diagnosis it gives is not always accurate but since I can directly see a tracing downloaded on my iPad I can see look at it and know if it is something I need to address immediately or can give reassurance. I do recommend it not just for non-medical people but for medical professionals as well. The non-medical buyer does need to be aware that the result the unit gives of a particular tracing may not be accurate. For my purposes though, it gives me a tracing to see and I can determine what it is. The other issue I have seen is the tracing that downloads on the app has lots of noise that makes it harder to actually see the whole p wave, qrs and t waves. I would like to see less noise in the tracing.

My husband periodically has days where his heart pounds all day, I'm a nurse and can read them, so this will be way cheaper than a cardiology workup. Easy to use right away, sync with your phone to view the whole strip. Then you can easily email it to your doctor if needed. Great product!

I have tried two other hand held EKG Devices and I was not happy. Either is the tracing was something normal, even given that it was a single lead, or the company required a monthly fee to view your own tracing. As well could not save to my iPhone or to my desktop. I was pleased when I received my SonoHealth monitor. It was intuitive to set up and easy to use. I am a family practice provider and I will be recommending this device to my patients to monitor the rhythm at home. Not as much for treatment but for reassurance. It is money well spent and my cardiologist Thinks it’s a wonderful Addition for anyone that has a chronic arrhythmia.
