“Ordered a replacement for the old Hunter rain sensor that had exceeded its life span. Order arrived sooner than expected and installed yesterday. Wiring to my Toro controller was a bit confusing as I did not have a clue of "open or closed circuit", but just followed the wiring of the old sensor. I installed the wireless transmitter on a fence some 30 feet from the receiver and after doing the reset as instructed, poured a bit of water into the sensor. As expected, the system was shut off and after a day or so the sensor had dried out sufficiently allowing the system to operate again. Hope it works this well if/when it rains!”
