“Appears to have a problem/problems with the 240 volt electricity in Australia. That's my guess. Works perfectly for maybe 2 months maximum then starts 'refusing' to work. Upon inspection, the magnetic tip looks scorched. The cord & ends all feel hot. Disappointed. Still, when it does work, it's better than any other lighting cord I've used. That's why I bought so many, even though I have just 1 device.”

“I should've returned all of this product. While the cords seem to be well made, the magnetic little piece does not stay in very well. the commercials are very deceiving. and you have to have lots of extra cords so everywhere you go, that's the type you need to use. if u don't have one, that little piece in the port of your phone, it's really hard to get out! it's a while have to make this big change for no benefit”

Regarding the magnetic tips, that's the main idea, one should not remove the tips to keep them convenient, spare their device port from wearing out over time, and protect them from dirt debris. Also, if it was easy to remove you would easily lose the magnetic tips. Please check your email.
