“this is my third automatic watch. My first was an Omega titanium divers watch. while i loved the watch I had problems with the band. The watchband pins constantly broke, obviously the pins were not titanium. My second automatic is a Tissot. While i love my Tissot my aging eyes can no longer see the date. My Regatta 792 gives me the reliability of an automatic and a crystal that is equal to a sapphire it also includes a magnified date window. The Regatta is my first Japanese movement and it seems to be keeping accurate time. The Regatta fit and finish is flawless. I would buy a Stührling again.”

“The old saying "You get what you pay for" hold true with this watch. If you are looking for an automatic watch at an affordable price then this watch is a great fit. If you are hoping to find a luxury watch for cheap then you will be disappointed.
The watch looks beautiful and after about a month I have not seen any major changes to the casing or bevel, though there are some minor scratches on the bracelet already. The glass resists scratching very well so far. The automatic movement is smooth and will not catch as some cheap ones do. The biggest downside of the watch is that the case extends too far and does not have a standard connection for the bracelet or strap. This means that you cannot change the strap unless you buy one specifically made for this model from Stuhrling, of which there are very few options. I did my research on this watch as best as I could before purchasing, but the website does not have much detail and nowhere did I see the unique strap setup.
Overall I am happy with my purchase, but would hesitate to buy another Stuhrling watch until the website provided more detail on each piece and I knew that I could change the strap easily if I wanted to.”
“This watch has some weight to it! It is a beautifully crafted timepiece with smooth movement. I haven’t had it long enough to determine if the stainless steel scratches from normal wear. All in all, I love the watch!”
