The blade looks amazing, the Hammon is exquisite. But heads up on the tsuba, it’s a lot smaller than I was expecting, esp for a katana. The sheath feels on the cheaper side, but the wrap is tight diamonds straight and uniform, has a great balance. If I could do it over though I’d email them and ask for dimensions on the tsuba and blade dimensions. Probably spend a little more and just do the pro series.

I don't usually write reviews but I hope this gives an idea of what to expect. This custom katana was an impulse buy after I've been playing around with the custom builder for months. This time I finally hit the checkout option. I've looked at swords with similar features like steel type used (tamahagane) and blade shape (hira zukuri) and all that and in the end, the price was comparable if not more than a custom katana. I have spent months on researching during my free time and. the video testimonials on the website has helped me a lot in deciding. It took a while for my katana to arrive but I was very happy with the result. The quality is better than any of the 13 katana I have and costs about 500 less than the most expensive one.

Props to swordis for offering custom katana options. I only discovered it after seeing the ad on facebook. It took a long while for me to do the research I needed to determine what features I wanted. It was truly mindblowing, I never knew it was so complicated. It has gotten me reading more about the different parts of the sword. The ordering process was very straightforward but the katana took a while to come. After forking out 3k ish, I would have been anxious if I didn't know Swordis is legit, but their team was amazing. They kept me updated on my order and I was truly ecstatic when it arrived. It was better than I expected!

A friend recommended Swordis after I mentioned wanting to build a katana that is a little more oriented towards fantasy and therefore unconventional. I gave it a shot and it didn't cost as much as I thought it would so I went ahead with it. I have to say I am very impressed with the result and would highly recommend it to anyone who is on the fence of getting one.

I did as much researching as I could in regards to the business itself and found no reason not to make an order. So I customized what I thought a good katana would look like and made choices based on their selections. What I got was exactly what they said I would. This word is beautiful The wrappings are great the blade is sharp and the hormone is very pronounced. I'm very pleased with my custom katana.

My custom katana was very well crafted to my exact specifications and I couldn't be happier with how it came out! It looks and feels very high quality! The blade is sharp, all fittings/ito are tight and the saya fits the blade perfectly. The sword feels great in the hands and the weight is well balanced. On top of the sword itself, the custom builder was very easy to use, navigate and understand. Above all, the customer service from Swordis is second to none! They kept in touch throughout the entire process and always responded in a timely manner which I greatly appreciated. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and experience with Swordis! I will definitely be ordering another custom katana in the future! Thanks Swordis!

I want to start off by thanking Vali who helped me choose the design for my custom katana. He was extremely patient in walking me through the different aspects of Japanese swords and even recommending several articles from their blog that was eye opening. I wasn't aware of the blog but Swordis has done a wonderful job of writing articles that are not only very informational, but also easy to understand. My katana took a while to arrive but I was updated regularly on what was happening. When it arrived, it was packed extremely well and the unboxing process is an experience that I will remember for life. The sword is marvelous to behold and the quality is breathtaking. It feels good in my hands, I have yet to try cutting with it since the weather here has been really cold but I have no doubt it will perform very well.
