How are the Handle and Fittings?

“Simple and clean design, perfect for cutting practice. So far, this one has a great point of balance and feels very responsive. The overall design in terms of sori, blade length, etc helps immensely with smooth transitions between stances. The tsukamaki is tight and aligned well, but not sure how the ito holds up to use.”

“honestly very impressed. the Tsuka is well done, the kashira and fuchi are well cast blackened brass and the Ito is actually surprisingly tight with just barely a hint of movement. the blade is phenomional, very well ground with no ripples in the grind, and the blade is near razor sharp. the saya is basic, but well executed, no defects in the finish and the kurikata is secure. the handling of the sword is exceptionally light and fast, one of the lightest blades i own. would definatelly recommend”
