“Practical and affordable, can't ask for better at this price point. I also really appreciate that the tariffs are covered since I was worried about the prices going up. Will be back for more. 4/5 for the handguard, there was some black oil on it I had to polish off.”

How are the Handle and Fittings?

“This katana Is awesome. The balance is near perfect as is the weight. It swings very easily, but you don't have to swing it hard because it cuts like a razor. The only things that would make it better for me is a polished blade and light brown suede leather wrap on the tsuka with antiqued ray skin.”

“high value & great quality sword for any collector or practitioner. Katana is built well and those new to test cutting should choose the 51CRV4 steel. I have tried out some new techniques and it has held up very well.”

“A very well balanced sword. Shadow Dancer by far has mastered the ito wrap on their swords as well as the balance. Very light and humble in appearance and nice-sturdy 9620 spring steel blade.”
