How's the Blade?

How are the Handle and Fittings?

“This limited edition katana feels great in the hands and is very well balanced, due to being a bit shorter than my other katanas at 27.2", which is perfect for shorter person like myself. The hefty feeling blackened brass tsuba with gold accents also adds to the improved balance. The crucible steel has an amazing hada (grain) pattern not too different from traditional tamahagane steel. The hamon is listed in the specs as Gunome however I feel it is closer to a Notare style. It is very impressive nonetheless. The fittings are tight, there is no rattle, and the castings have a good amount of detail. The saya is a beautiful gold flake urushi imitation that really comes out in the bright light.”
