Simple and elegant katana with higher end features! You'd be hard pressed to find any katana under 300 that has 1095 blade, sanbonsugi hamon, bohi option, brass fittings, and hilt with hishigami. The groove and hishigami are only usually available for an additional fee.

Really love this new sword, Ito's super tight, it's light, balance, elegant and well built. Performance for cutting and IA are above expectations for that price range. Great value for your buck !

Once again, A cut above competition, for overall quality, service, VERY tight ito, details and balance ... Compare to my SD Hira Zukuri S5 Steel I bought 2 months ago, this sword is really well made for it`s price range. SD really puts in the extra effort to define their brand and standards.

Overall a beautiful piece at this price point, has a thin tsuka (handle) so would be good for those with small hands, the ITO ( wrap) is very tight and exceeds my expectations. the fittings look great and go well with the theme of the sword. The blade looks good but has some light marring from the polishing process but is expected from a sword in this price range, beautiful Hamon! I bought this sword during a sale but I think even at full price is a really nice piece for anyone, I have not had the opportunity to cut with it yet but it came sharp. the weight is very light and will be great for quick draw /cutting practice and technique , Balance feels good as well. If you are thinking about this sword, buy it, I don't think that you can go wrong at this price.
