How's the Blade?
How are the Handle and Fittings?
The sword itself is excellent, especially considering the cost. There was a 'smudge' of sorts on the left side hamon but I'd consider that a minor cosmetic issue. I did however have a couple of problems with the saya - Critically, the koguchi/habaki fit was way too loose from the start requiring me to shim it on unpackaging it. Less importantly, the laquer on the saya seems to be quite soft so that is something to be mindful of. Overall I'm quite happy with it once I'd addressed the safety issue posed by the loose retention.

In terms of dimensions and fittings this sword is quite similar to real nihonto that I've held. It's an incredibly good replica, especially at this price range. It draws and sheathes really smoothly, making it a good tool for iaido. The blade is well polished and the hamon is nice and defined.
