How are the Handle and Fittings?

“This is my third Shadow Dancer Katana so far, and once again I’m very impressed. The polish on the blade is excellent. The Ito wrap is very tight, and the diamonds all line up. All of the fittings casting quality is very good. The Saya fits nice and snug around the Habaki. there is a slight rattle down towards the bottom, but it’s completely acceptable. Swordis let me change the Saya to a black lacquer one, and I upgraded to buffalo horn fittings. Overall it’s a nice looking sword, and I would recommend it. If I had one complaint it would be that the top 20% toward the tip isn’t that sharp. That’s the only area that could use some work.”

“Hishigami pro for an additional 30 is a must have especially if it is not intended as a display piece. meticulously crafted piece that is legit 5/5 appearance wise. The design is well thought out. Performance is good as well—blade edge is durable and cuts very well, sword is responsive and maneuvers easily. The only slight issue that takes away from its perfect score would be the koiguchi that is slightly too tight but is improving with more use.”

“Very attractive sword at just the right color combination. Arrived quickly and is just as expected, handles very well, fittings are tight, 4* for the handle bcz theres this one spot that kinda slightly rubs the area just below my thumb. Blade feels sharp and polished very well. Also a little disappointed because I was hoping for a large emperor node haha!”
