They don’t overshadow the overall design, but rather complement it with a minimalistic charm that will appeal to those who appreciate subtle artistry. What truly makes this katana shine is the blade polishing. Under natural daylight, the polish brings out the full beauty of the blade, highlighting the steel’s craftsmanship with a mirror-like finish that catches the eye. The blade seems almost alive with light, adding to the sword’s overall visual appeal. The only area where this katana falls slightly short is the saya (scabbard). It’s functional and well-crafted, but it could benefit from a more ornate or decorative design to match the beauty of the blade. A fancier saya would elevate the entire presentation, but as it stands, it still performs its duty adequately. Overall, this katana is a solid choice for both collectors and practitioners who appreciate a mix of function, beauty, and craftsmanship.”
