Great katana! The blade is sharp, the design is stunning, and it feels solid. Definitely worth it for the quality and look.

How are the Handle and Fittings?
This katana is the epitome of simplicity and functionality, offering a no-frills design that focuses on utility over flair. Its extremely simple appearance may not stand out among more elaborate pieces, but for those who appreciate minimalism, it’s a perfect fit. The price is impressively low, making it an accessible option for budget-conscious buyers, while still delivering a reliable product. Despite the affordable cost, the sword doesn’t sacrifice in terms of function. The tight wrapping on the handle ensures a secure grip, a key feature for anyone using it in training or practice. The blade’s polishing is straightforward, with no excessive gloss or shine. It’s simple but clean, aligning with the overall aesthetic of the sword. The polish serves its purpose without drawing unnecessary attention. In conclusion, this katana is for someone who values function and minimalism. It's a practical and affordable option that gets the job done, without any decorative excess. If you’re looking for an affordable, well-built sword without the fancy details, this is a solid choice.

How are the Handle and Fittings?
I've been test cutting for a few months and this will be my first 1095 blade. All my previous ones were more durable ones since my form is nowhere near acceptable. Overall, its a great sword, beautiful, and genuinely feels like an extension of my arm. My only complaint would be a minor imperfection on the blade. I did not notice it until I brought it up to eye level to examine the hamon. I did mention it to customer support and they offered to have it returned and a new one shipped out but since it will probably sustain some damage during my practice, I opted to keep the sword. For those looking for great value, I highly recommend!
