How's the Blade?
How are the Handle and Fittings?
Ito is very very tight although the menuki will move around with use of the sword for iaido. Fittings look amazing. Tsuba is perfectly smooth and cast well. The fitting below the Tsuba has loosened up after a few hours of practice. It’s not terrible but noticeable. The blade polish is amazing…..on MOST of the sword…. There are weld pattern defects covering about 12” total on 2 parts of the blade. As well, 1” extending below the Yokote is very dull! This part of the blade was not polished like the rest. Disappointing because this sword would be 5/5 otherwise.

Looks good craftsman is great. I due plan on doing a more aggressive etching to bring out the folded steel. The fitment to the Saya is very tight at the Habaky is my my only complaint. Probably will break in during use.

The blade steel is made from 1095 high carbon and 9260 spring steel, I’ve had it for almost a week it it is a amazing katana, I’ve done a lot ot cutting with it and it cuts amazing stays very sharp and it super durable, the handle looks amazing I had it switched to a burgundy and it looks amazing it’s very tight and hasn’t loosened and the sageo on the saya looks amazing and is tied very well, the sword amazing and is definitely built to last and great for high performance cutting and supper quality, my only slight complaint it that the paint in my saya had had a small chip in the paint in my saya when I first got it that been slowly chipping more but I reached out the the support team don they are taking care of it for me, I defiantly recommend swordis and any katana if there aight there support team is amazing and the katanas and the best quality

High quality katana, on par even with my 1400 one I ordered 3 years ago. I specifically like the closer PoB for quicker draw and better response. I do have bigger hands so the tsuka feels like it is just long enough for me, but otherwise, this is one of my best buys in my 5 years of collecting
