Just perfect. I bought it to replace a lost sword cane my father bought me 50 years ago. It brings back great memories.

First, you should know that Swordis, and their staff are phenomenal. The first cane I ordered came in broken and used. This is not the fault of Swordis. You need to understand that they get the items from their suppliers, and the supplier for this particular item took back a bad product. Swordis isn't to blame for that. I emailed them right away and they were fantastic about getting a return label sent and sending me a replacement cane. This is the best customer service I've had with a company in many years, so be confident when you buy from them. The cane itself isn't bad for the price. The small sword sits securely in the shaft and doesn't rattle at all. It is very dull, but that can be remedied with some whetstone attention, which u will attend to in the next few days. The blade seems tight in the handle as well. My only real complaint, is that the brass fittings and the "ivory" only are much duller in appearance than the picture makes them seem. Whether this is because it's old stock, or just the manufacturing of it, I'm not sure. I'm going to try to shine the brass, and clean the inlay to see if it helps. Thank you Swordis staff for being awesome, and taking good care of a first time customer.
