How's the Blade?
How are the Handle and Fittings?
...the blade is about 20 cm / 9'' short for me (195 cm / 6,4) assuming use in Tai Chi. Also the handle wiggles just a tiny bit when the cane is closed so it's not perfect as a jo staff either. same problem makes it rattle a bit when first used as a walking cane. That however can be compensated for with a bit of practice - so no harm there. On the bright side the blade looks really nice and the overall look of dark wood and brass is great. It also is a cool short swort for stage fighting. I would not recommend it whole hartedly but if you know what you are getting, it might be just the thing for you. I'm keeping it.

I’m sorry to hear this wasn’t up to your expectations. Could you please reach out to our customer service team regarding the rattle? That should be a quick and easy fix for us. As for the length, we do offer custom length options so customers can choose what best suits their needs. Your order was placed with the standard length, which may be the reason it feels off to you. Please let us know if you’d like any assistance we’re happy to help.

This is a very nice sword but I wouldn't recommend it for tai chi training as having a sword guard for me is essential for tai chi sword routines.

Decided to get one after seeing a youtube short on a cane sword from swordis. I never knew about cane swords and thought it was a really cool concept! 5 stars from me!
