How are the Handle and Fittings?

“For a wakizashi it is pretty good. cuts are typically clean and efficient. The edge could have come slightly sharper but was pretty good. I could see a very slight reflection off of the edge in a few places but nothing a bit of time with the right stones wont fix. it sliced through its cardboard packaging effortlessly. I personally prefer slightly longer handles to enable 2 hands as an option, this was just long enough to get 3/4 of my second hand on. The wrappings were tight. the scabbard was a bit flakey with wood strips, as is typical with cheaper wood scabbards and just needed a bit of swabbing. Overall im happy. As long as your goal is a single handed CQB wakisashi this makes the cut and is balanced well for one handed use. Not quite a scimitar meat cleaver but still enough forward balance to make good cuts one handed.”
