How's the Blade?
How are the Handle and Fittings?
I inew it would be heavy at 2.5 lbs but I wasn’t expecting it to be so well balanced at about 4 inches from hilt. Has a little flex but not sparing safe due to weight and the tip being rounded instead of spatulated. I intend to use it to study the MS-I33 fechtbuch and do some living history. Should be fine for solo and partner drills. The straps holding the suspension rings slide right off so I can install a more period accurate suspension. Hilt and pomel are some sort of cast metal that won’t take bluing solution but blade takes blue nicely.
