The Damascus looks even better in person! Sword feels very solid in my hand. No rattling or looseness in the grip.

Very happy with the sword. It has a comfortable grip that is of good length. Viking sword handles tend to be on the shorter side, but my hand does not feel cramped in this one. Handling is so-so, the point of balance is closer, and the sword is agile. I have not tried to cut with it yet.

I have had my eye on this sword for a while now and finally went ahead with it since its at the lowest price I've seen it. No regrets here, really happy with how it looks. One slight disadvantage is that its heavier than I thought it would be. Also, for those new to Viking swords, watch out for the shorter handles. There are ways of dealing with it but it can be uncomfortable for those who are not used to it. I personally have since learnt to appreciate it.
