How are the Handle and Fittings?
This is my favorite wakizashi now. I carry it everywhere (except inside the bank, the teller politely reminded me to leave it in the car) but the folks at the grocery store love it

Got this wakizashi for my 11 year old son (I teach him kenjutsu) and I can't wait to see him open it on Xmas. This will be the first blade he will own that I am jealous of. It's simple beauty. It's perfect weight and balance. Definitely a powerful cutter I'm sure. The hada is so vivid. The hamon so active. Razor sharp edge. Absolutely stunning. I may have to get a second one for myself!

Simple, elegant, and all a collector could ask for in terms of aesthetics. I have yet to test the blade since its similar to 1095 and can be unforgiving. Cutting aside, the balance of the sword is superior than most, and the grip is very comfortable. Design is very clean.
