How are the Handle and Fittings?

“I really like this one. The fittings are high quality as expected from Hanwei but I was actually surprised how nicely the ito wrapping was. Hanwei ito wrapping tends to be hit or miss but this one is super clean and extremely tight. Also the ito cord wrap they use is very high quality and feels very authentic. Only downside is the sageo is really cheap and thin, but that's generally the case for sub $1k hanwei swords. It's easy enough to replace though so it's not a deal breaker. What makes this one special is the extra long handle (almost 12 inches) which makes the sword feel incredibly well balanced. This thing just wants to go, really feels like an extention of the arm. I'm also a sucker for red sayas and this one has a very nice one. This one is definitely more aesthetics over practicality but it can get the job done, definitely recommend this one.”

“Really nice sword for the price. High quality fittings and more importantly the balance is excellent because of the extra long handle. Only issue I have is the sageo is kinda cheap but that’s normal for hanwei swords under $1k. Overall highly recommend this one.”
