“I originally ordered the Date Masamune Katana. After making the purchase and sent confirmation, I received an email from David of Swordis apologizing that the Date Masamune Katana was actually sold out and the website was not updated in time before I made the purchase. David gave me an option of receiving a full refund or to choose a different sword. If I wanted to choose a different sword, he told me that if the next sword I choose cost less than the Date Masamune, I will receive the difference back of my original payment. And vice versa, if the sword i choose cost more that the Date Masamune, I will be sent an invoice to pay the difference. I told him I'd like to have the Toyotomi Hideyoshi Katana. He sent me an invoice to which I paid and within 4 days I received my new Toyotomi Hideyoshi Katana and was pleased with it. The ito wrapping on the tsuka or handle was not completely even but it was very tight. The tsuka itself was solid along with all the fittings has no play in it. It satisfies my need for to to be a training tool for my ryu ha. My email exchange with David of Swordis was quick and pleasant. Swordis customer service was quite impressive. I also have a custom sword I ordered through their custom sword builder page in their website to which I picked out the parts and specifications with Hanbon Forge of how I want a katana put together for myself to which I have paid and waiting to receive now. David assured me that my custom sword is in the forging process now and told me that when they receive the sword from the forge, they'll take pictures of it and send them to me and immediately ship the sword put to me. So far I am very impressed with Swordis as a company and would not hesitate to buy another katana from them.”
