About Tea Life:

Hello! My name's Toby and while I've always been a tea lover, I never really thought about the benefits and healing powers of herbal tea before a certain time in my life where I was going through some stress and anxiety.
This is a short story about my tea life.

I came across Valerian root tea and noticed one of the benefits listed was 'helping stress and anxiety' so I thought why not? It actually did help, and became my first go to solution for when I was feeling stressed.

Since then I have had to go back to that single shop to order it, as it's difficult to find. Sometimes it was sold out, sometimes I was too busy to make the trip, but overall I was just thinking 'why isn't this awesome drink more readily available'?

So I decided to do something about that. I researched the benefits of other herbal tea, as I was curious to see what else was out there and was astonished to learn just how useful and powerful they are. Over time, I realised they really are natures medicine.

This website has been designed to educate, and provide easy access across Australia to a huge range of Organic Herbal tea, free of pesticides and other impurities.

Apart from herbal tea, I have also stocked the best chai, exotic, and other health related blends I could find within Australia. If it's fresh, interesting and tastes great - I'll get it in.

“I know this tea has a reputation for its interesting taste, but I love it I used to drink valerian tea as a teenager to help me sleep. Its been so hard to find good quality valerian tea but this tea is so great. I knew it was good quality from the smell. I mixed it with a little chamomile. Just lovely”

“Valerian tea has normally both a strong taste and smell but I found Tea Life Valerian Tea to be much milder and more enjoyable than previous brands I have tasted. i drink it every night (without holding my nose!) Will definitely buy again.”

Hi Suzanne, thanks! Our Valerian still isn't for everyone as you can tell from the reviews - but we'll recommend Damiana as a strong alternative in those cases. But for the most part, we see a lot of people getting great use out of Valerian.

Hi Christine, thanks you for your feedback and that's really interesting! I've never known Valerian to be bitter from the ones I've tried, maybe our source is different. Most people are fine with the taste but it's not for everyone!

“I’ve had trouble sleeping for years and along the way have tried everything to help. I haven’t slept the way I did with this tea (without a sleeping pill) in SO. LONG! I’ve also given it to a friend who has trouble with sleep and he also highly rates it. The taste is okay.. not great but not gross, definitely worth it for the benefits. Thanks Tea Life!”

Hi Lucy, so glad that helped you as it has helped others. if you start getting too used to that you might want to alternate with Damiana too, to see if that's as effective.
