About Tea Life:

Hello! My name's Toby and while I've always been a tea lover, I never really thought about the benefits and healing powers of herbal tea before a certain time in my life where I was going through some stress and anxiety.
This is a short story about my tea life.

I came across Valerian root tea and noticed one of the benefits listed was 'helping stress and anxiety' so I thought why not? It actually did help, and became my first go to solution for when I was feeling stressed.

Since then I have had to go back to that single shop to order it, as it's difficult to find. Sometimes it was sold out, sometimes I was too busy to make the trip, but overall I was just thinking 'why isn't this awesome drink more readily available'?

So I decided to do something about that. I researched the benefits of other herbal tea, as I was curious to see what else was out there and was astonished to learn just how useful and powerful they are. Over time, I realised they really are natures medicine.

This website has been designed to educate, and provide easy access across Australia to a huge range of Organic Herbal tea, free of pesticides and other impurities.

Apart from herbal tea, I have also stocked the best chai, exotic, and other health related blends I could find within Australia. If it's fresh, interesting and tastes great - I'll get it in.

Hi Darren, you're the first to say this one tastes great so that's a nice balance to other reviews here! We'll often get people saying it works but need to add honey due to the taste. :)

“It really works! My anxiety ruins my days and makes for too many sleepless nights. Panic attacks occur way too often. I'm trying to manage it without medication and found the supplement tablets helped somewhat with getting to sleep at night. If you've ever been aware of that moment when painkillers take effect, the way your body suddenly relaxes with relief, then you'll find this tea similar for anxiety. It ebbs away. The taste is hard to get past, however. I've started mixing my Valerian root tea with another spicy and flavoursome tea, which works a treat.”

“It tasted no where near as bad as the smell. I found after about 30 or so minutes after having a tea, my body started to begin to feel heavy and relaxed. Also noticed an interesting change in dreams becoming very vivid/easy to remember and relative to current events when having right before bed.”

Hi Tess, thanks for your review! I agree about the taste and after awhile you'll probably start to like it. The 30 mins mark sounds about right - and I had to stop drinking this at work because I wasn't getting anything done.

“Excellent tea to help calm nervousness/anxiety as the valerian root is . This tea has been my go to at work which has helped keep me calm during hectic days. The smell is not as bad as the reviews however, the taste is much more subtle and pleasant than the smell (although I don't dislike the smell). I plan on always having this tea on hand...a must have for all.”
