“Had such a fantastic time ! The view was incredible and the lake down the street was so nice. Very secluded as you are the only one on the site. We stayed last august so we had remote check in. The directions were awful and no description whatsoever I had to call someone through the Tentrr site who was located in New York. He was very helpful and we eventually found it. But at first it took us about a half hour to find it. Overall the site made up for the troubling start.”
“Absolutely STUNNING spot! Takes a bit to get up to the site via a dirt road but it is worth the trek. We had everything we needed for a perfect weekend getaway once we arrived. Tent was beautiful as well as the views and Geoff was very responsive. Highly recommend, would definitely go back!”
“Was not what we expected but the place is awesome! The views are fantastic and we had lovely visitors on the path leading to the site. Deer, wild turkeys, hawks among these. Please contact your campkeeper for directions before you travel, as the ones we receive from Tentrr are a bit off track. Our campkeeper was very responsive to our communication.”
“This was our first time using Tentrr and it was definitely an experience. The address which was emailed to us through Tentrr was not correct, and when we arrived we were unable to get the CampKeeper on the phone, luckily we could access him through email. When you get to the right location the drive up is about a mile and a half. The last little portion would be difficult to get up with a car as it is unpaved, and not "maintained" for a vehicle close to the ground. We had a truck and the trip was bumpy. When you get to the top the view is BEAUTIFUL! You are definitely SECLUDED...Tentrr's mission is for you to feel comfortable running around naked with nobody there to see you....that is 100% a possibility here. There are no side tables, and the queen air mattress is not there so we had twin costs with small pads, not really the semi-romantic getaway we planned...but ok. There were no "toilet" bags, and you are definitely in the woods going to the bathroom in a bucket. Bring your own THICK trash bags because it is carry in and carry out......I wish I had known that. Also, there was no instructions on where to take the "trash" so we drive back to the Peak address and put it in the trash there. There is also no "rain shower" so we did need to bath using our water bottles which was also an experience...luckily the seclusion came in handy here. There was plenty of camp wood, and on the drive up we saw deer, and a porcupine (really cool)! The biggest saving grace for this was waking up to the amazing view. We had no bug or tick issues, but it was August 17-20 and it had already began to get cool at night. We asked the CampKeeper what happened to some of the items which were supposed to be there and he sadly informed us that they had been stolen. I feel bad that the CampKeeper has to deal with poor "tentrr's" but it did make the experience a little less than what was expected. If you LOVE "deep woods" camping this is a good site for you with a killer view. If you are looking for a little more of a glamping experience.....not sure it will be your cup of tea.”
“Beautiful spot, we had a great time! The view literally cannot be beat. There was no sunshower/extra firewood that I upgraded to which was kind of a bummer, but plenty of firewood and a box with some other extras that could be helpful. Overall very much worth it and would definitely come again :)”
“Water jugs were half filled the toilet was filled with human waste and human waste next to it when we arrived the blow up air mattress was not there as usual just the cot the solar shower was not there nothing that is normally provided was there disappointed and won’t be returning.”
