“What a fun time! Definitely a glamping set up as the tent is big, the bed inside is comfy, and the bathrooms are closeby. It got cold, but they had a space heater inside. It was a great experience, but in the future I would probably not pay as much as I did for this, although I would do something like it again.”
“I had a great experience staying here while exploring the Berkshires over a long weekend. Katherine was welcoming, communicative, and accommodating. The access to the bathroom and shower in the pool house is a great plus. The site is less than 5 minutes from downtown Great Barrington and close to Stockbridge and Lenox and all the amenities these wonderful towns have to offer. I'll be back at this site when I return to the Berkshires.”
“We made a spur of the moment decision to extend our VT/MA jaunt by a day…booked Kathy’s place at 5:30 and were settled in by 7:00! The pool was fantastic and access to an indoor bathroom, great. Enjoyed a lovely fire while fireflies lit up the woods behind the tent.”
“5 star experience. Kathy is an amazing host. The tent is set up in a charming farm location just outside of Great Barrington, offering enough privacy and outdoor experience, providing access to all basic amenities and the town if needed. Goats and bunnies made our day. Recommended. Thank you.”
“We had a great stay. Everything was as advertised, if not better and was perfect for what we were looking for. It's close to everything you want, but far enough away that you feel like you're away from it all. Definitely planning on returning and looking forward to it. If you're on the fence, just do it! You will not be disappointed!”
“The owner was a lovely lady with some very sweet bunnies, provided lot of water and a propane cooker and allowed access to a nice bathroom. We were staying very briefly to catch a show at Tanglewood. This site needs a lot more care than the tentrr set up is equipped to handle. The Tentrr is set back into a wooded area with some pretty big gypsy moths, spiders and ticks. I suggest treating this site more like a big rain fly/lean to. You should arrive asap to 1. Spray the inside of the Tentrr down with plenty of peppermint bug repellent, 2. Start a fire in the assigned put with some moist wood to smoke out the bugs, and most important, 3. place your own pop up tent or netted bug bivy on the bed to keep the bugs out while you sleep. Since we were aware of these things from a previous review, we were good to go, but I think the Tentrr people should come to repair this tent, as the window/door mesh had some tears, the slatted floor needs either mesh netting or ground tarp to keep out bugs and the canvas roof has a lot of mildew growing on the outside of it.
The site itself was a very convenient location and the sunrise was nice.”
