“Scott and Christina are very gracious hosts who are very proud of the beautiful natural land they own. And they should be! The place is amazing and the campsite is the perfect getaway away from civilization and separated enough that you don’t even know there’s a couple more sites in their property. No cellphone reception for us there, which made for a great absorption into nature for a few nights. We arrived after a big rainstorm and their setup is so great that the wetness didn’t bother us one bit, the tent and dining area were perfectly dry and a fire kept us happy for hours. The temperatures dropped to 45 at night and their heating in the tent did wonders to make us happy on the transitions into and out of our sleeping bags.
They have a lot more stuff than advertised in their Airbnb listing, they share it happily, we borrowed only a gas stove and some gas, but we could have simply showed up with sleeping bags and nothing else and we would have needed nothing they couldn’t provide. It was nice to have our own utensils though. But we were very concerned about flashlights, while they had one on each needed location!

“This spot is perfect to relax and forget about everything. The creek makes it cooler in hot summer, the birds will offer you a private concert in the morning and the evening. You don’t even need to pack too much. The camp site is very well equipped.”
