“If you're reading this thinking "Queen mattress & private swimming pond? Too good to be true..." the answer is Yes-- too good. and Yes-- totally true. Lucy is quick to reply and she supplied us with everything you could think of, going above and beyond especially in COVID times. Very safe & clean-- paper towels, ample firewood (dry, and with kindling!) which kept us warm as the moonlight flowed in across the treetops. The sunset here is gorgeous, with cotton candy skies reflecting in the spring-fed swimming pond. Comfortable, spacious, peaceful, and would love to return-- many thanks Lucy for making it all possible”
“A beautiful spot with lots of room to wander around and enjoy nature, but with the convenience of having a town (with ice cream) just a couple of minutes down the road. We watched deer cross the meadow while we were cooking dinner. The pond provided endless entertainment for our family and you have never seen anyone as happy as our dogs were to have the space and privacy to run around freely (sometimes). The hosts are very friendly and helpful.”
“Our very first camping trip.i am way to comfortable not to sleep in a bed.John and Lucy put in the tent a real mattress.Very comfortable.we felt we own the pond .Very clear water.we spent most of our time swimming.Our hosts John and Lucy even provided floating tubes.lot of chairs and loungers to relax.
For us privacy is very important.we have 2 dogs.They are very protective.They had a blast.
To swim.in a clean pond with your kids and dogs.No one is near by...
We had plenty of dry wood.Made s'mores and grilled chicken and hamburgers.Lucy and John was checking on us frequently.
Almost forgot there is another tent so more people can enjoy this private gem.John and Lucy lives I think on the top of the world....
We were not in the mood to hike.- we like the water swimming- however the mountains and the veiw is unforgettable.
This is 2020.Everybody hooked up on electronics.i have Verizon and TMobile .No issues.We were able to watch movies decent reception.
We will be back soon. .in this season. I don't want to try another site.

“This was the perfect spot for my first Tentrr experience. It was absolutely beautiful. Lucy made sure I had everything I needed. She was perfect: there if I needed her, accessible and accommodating, but gave me plenty of space the rest of the time to enjoy the beautiful pond, mountain view, and trees. The property is very well maintained and blends in with the beauty of the area. Lots of great hikes in the area. Would/will go back here in a heartbeat. I didn’t want to leave.”

This site has everything - it felt very remote/private, with beautiful panoramic views footsteps away, a private, super clean pond, and lovely walking trails. The location was stellar - just 5 minutes from two iconic VT breweries, 10 minutes to Green River Resevoir (awesome canoeing), and a few more minutes to other trails and all of the Stowe/Waterbury attractions.
The site was very well equipped with a comfy bed. We were very warm and cozy despite the weather, and really enjoyed the sunset views on our second night.
Lucy was terrific! She greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to go back!”
