Toilet paper should be provided. Potable water should be more accessible. These two should be givens at $80 per night. Poor communication between the state park and Tentrr that clearly makes for a strange camping experience. Fine tent and location (got lucky with no overnight trains), just poor communication (ie no signage for tentrr parking and location, bad map from tentrr).

a little confusing to find when you aren't used to the terrain but overall a great stay. loved being off the grid, right on the river and not having other camps in sight of my own. the only thing I wish was in the listing was that the train tracks are right across the river. will definitely stay again, just need to bring ear plugs so I don't wake up a 1 a.m. lol

It was nice for a night, a lot of little things that help make it better.

Highly recommend as my first camping experience, we stayed during the 4th and the park itself was very private not much activity so we loved that! There is train tracks and trains that will run all throughout the night though and that could possibly wake you up.

This was a nice site. Limited on area to set chairs, having a good view, and have a fire. Roots from trees protrude out of ground in front area. But we made do just fine. Only complaint is the tents are close together. Some don’t have a nature skirt blocking site F. There is one on other side blocking site H. HINT: Get a collapsible wagon. Can’t drive to site so everything you need at site you gotta pack in and pack out. A wagon makes this much better. Especially if you have multiple trips. If your not much of a hiker then get the wagon.

Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve! We are actually sourcing a wagon to leave on site for our guests to use to haul their gear from the parking area to each site. Thank you so much for the suggestion, and we hope to see you out on another Tentrr adventure soon! Cheers! The Tentrr Team

It was alright I guess. It would have been easier and cheaper to just pitch a tent in a quieter campground. The directions were terrible, and we spent an hour trying to find the place. The trains across the river were very noisy.

Hey there Nicholas, thanks for the feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours we wouldn't know where to improve. Upon receiving your review, we have gotten in touch with the state park host. They let us know that all the sites have posts with markers that are easy to see. Directions and locating the tent was taken in to consideration, and we thank you for letting us know your experience at this site. Hope to see you out camping with us soon! Cheers! The Tentrr Team

The stay is about a quarter a mile from the parking area. You have to walk with belongings to arrive to your tent. There is a a major railway across the river along with a damn which both create sleep awakening noises pretty much nightly. Not a negative review just facts. Also a little tricky to locate as someone new to the area. Beautiful stay!
