Literally breathtaking location. Nothing else matters. Feet from the water, spectacular views, lots of extras on site above and beyond what you already usually get on Tentrr sites... and super hospitable host! My only tips are: 1) the drive down is probably best done with 4 wheel drive—my Kia Soul made it back up some rough terrain—but with a lot of coaching from the awesome host. We ran into sporadic showers and it would’ve been questionable getting back up after it, so we went back up to the top (with help!) and the host brought us, our dogs, and stuff back up at check out. Again—great host! 2) Ladies—we dont have it as easy as the men when it comes to bathroom sadly—and the camp loo is a bit of a walk up the first hill. At night it can be a challenge—so if you’ve got female things to do or pee alot or middle of night, you may benefit from bringing a personal portable loo. These are both tips for convenience of future visitors—that I might’ve benefited from myself lol. However I cannot say enough the place is literally amazing—so private, like having the Hudson to yourself, so much to do—kayaking, paddle boat, tubes, games, fishing, etc. Good for family or a couple. Fun for the pups. Just awesome, definitely hope to return!

A weekend of rest and relaxation at the Riverfront Ritz! What an amazing location to be able to enjoy and just soak it all in. The owner, Rita, provides everything and more that you could need while you stay here, everything is so well thought out. We really enjoyed being able to just float along in the river or sitting on the porch and just enjoying the view.

You NEED to stay at this place. Right on the water and absolutely beautiful. Tons of water activities - kayak, tubes, fishing, etc. Also has everything you need to cook/ grill food that you bring! I will definitely be coming back with my entire family.

We had a sweet get away at Riverfront Ritz! Having access to Lake Luzerne right off the front porch was ideal. The Lake is perfectly clean for swimming, tubing and floating. The firepit was perfect for cooking with the provided grill grate. The covered picnic table, covered kitchen area and covered front porch were very helpful when the rain came. Rita was a wonderfully gracious host who drove us to the campsite since my Volkswagon may not have made the adventure down to the lakeside site. We left the car a short walk away from the site and were able to access it to visit the towns of Lake George and Glenns Falls which are both just short drives away. Rita was kind enough to dry our rain soaked towels and provided us with an extra blanket on a chilly night. Bring your cozy blankets, a cooler full of food, swim suits and a spirit of adventure and visit Rita this season!

We stayed at the Riverfront Ritz for 2 nights and it was not enough! Our host Rita went out of her way to enhance our camping experience in every way possible. Rita is incredibly attentive and kind. She drove us down to the site since the road is a bit tricky for our really low car. When we got to the site she took the time to go over everything she has there to make sure we enjoy our time to the fullest. Immediately we set up the tent and put fire in the pit to start our night. There’s a paddle boat and a kayak that we used to get in the water during the sunset. The view is absolutely beautiful. The shower was the easiest shower setup we have experienced and Rita had lots of extra gallons of water. There were 3 different coolers that helped us separate our beverages, meat and leftovers. We were used to bringing everything to our campsites but we realized that with the riverfront ritz, all we needed was bug spray, lighter fluid for the tiki torches, ice and food. Nothing else. We will definitely return with our friends and family. We need a minimum of 3 days! Thanks you Rita for being an amazing host!

We stayed on Memorial Day weekend, and this year was an epic rainy weekend. Thank our host that we had a canopy over the kitchen, canopy over the patio, and another one above the dining area to give us more dry space during rainy weather. The river scenery is postcard-perfect, we went paddle boating with two kids in the back and were able to go across and down the river with two amateur boaters, no problem. Rita is an exceptional hostess, and really enjoys her role of guiding guests through her slice of natural beauty. Just make sure your vehicle is all wheel drive with at least five inches’ clearance from ground to undercarriage, since the path to the campsite contains some steep slopes. Our car couldn’t wing it so we parked in the woods near the campsite. All in, we had a blast and we will return!
