“The site is lovely - secluded and right next to the river. Our boys and dog loved wading in the water, and my wife and son went for a nice run up and back the dirt road where the site is. John was really helpful to us - and gave us some great organic bug spray his wife makes. The bunk bed made is really easy for the 4 of us (2 boys - 9 and 11) and my wife + me ...”
“John was the loveliest host from the beginning to the end. Then you have the site.....which is even better, still love you John ;) . It was perfectly equipped with everything we needed to endure a soaking wet night (tent stays dry inside) and semi dry day by the creek/ stream. The sound of the creek and pouring rain was dreamy at night. Put us all in a trance. If you’re looking for some peace, relaxation and good energy—-this is your place. Clean, water tanks and solar shower were full and ready to go not like many of the tentrr sites I’ve been to where you have to fill yourself initially. Also my silly self left the car half on during the night draining my entire battery. John was more than hospitable on a rainy Sunday to come help us out of a bind. And wait—- don’t forget to get a bottle of his wife’s organic bug spray. Been camping all summer and this is better than “deep woods off” without all the crazy chemicals. Highly suggest you support her products. I can not wait to go back. See you in the early fall John! Thanks again for everything. Truly special place.”
