“John and his wife were very generous and hospitable. The tent was nice and very clean. Beds were comfortable. It is a lovely set up with a lovely creek near by. We got the breakfast and coffee which was more than enough for two people. The homemade bread was delicious!

“This is an amazing location ! If you love a remote tranquil place then look no further! The only sounds you here are birds and rushing water, and once in a while a car in the distance. We just sat for hours in the comfy Adirondack chairs and let nature impress us. The fireflies at night are spectacular. John, the campground keeper is very helpful and attentive. He offered to bring over a gas burner so we could make our breakfast when it rained. The location is close to everything g Dutchess county has to offer. Don’t forget to visit Innesfree garden, bring picnic and spend the day, it is one of a kind.”
“Just the perfect little spot. Close to everything we needed, including wine and groceries, and the site itself is easy to get to, but feels far away. The creek running through is stunning in the morning and sitting on the hammock napping with a book was bliss.”
