“WOW- what a fantastic spot! The location is perfect- tucked away by a nice creek but close enough (about 1/2 mile) to the main road so you're able to get to town quickly if needed. You can pull your car right up to the camping area and unload down a short incline, super convenient. The view of the creek from the site hammock is such a lovely site to see! The camp area is nestled under some tree coverage so there isn't too much star gazing to be done but with so much else to see we didn't miss it. Our host, John, was incredibly hospitable. He was very accommodating with our check in (we arrived later than excepted) and gave us a run down of the area, providing suggestions on what to do and even gave us a s'more kit since we forgot to bring supplies! We were also able to purchase water and firewood for a small fee. John added so many small details that made our stay even that much more welcoming. The area is so well taken care of and has everything you could ever need (campfire grill, wood stove, picnic table, lounge chairs, boat toilet/paper, hammock- truly everything for a comfy camp just be sure to bring a sleeping bag). 10/10- could not recommend this enough! Will definitely be back soon.”

John was a fantastic host. Super accommodating and approachable, quick to provide us with anything we needed. Extra amenities were apparent - lots of cookware, lounge chairs, even an indoor heater for chilly nights. The fresh baked bread his wife made was delicious, accompanied by the fresh hot pepper salsa he'd been whipping up from his garden.

“The site was fantastic. Steps away from a beautiful creek and secluded. John was a great host. He gave us amazing tips of things to do in the area and was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He even had freshly bake peach pie ready as a parting gift. It's obvious that he takes the cleanliness of the site and the comfort of his guests very seriously. Hope to return in the near future.”
