Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“We just had our third visit to The Other Place. It’s by far our favorite TENTRR site and we’ve been to many. The site is clean and well laid out. It’s in the middle of nature, quiet, pristine, private and beautiful. This time we saw so many fireflies and stars in the sky blended into the fields of fireflies to make everything sparkle. It was magical. Paul has the site set up perfectly. There is a solar panel to charge your electronics. The large canopy over the grill leaves lots of space to cook and eat in the rain or hot sun. Our dogs run free and enjoy exploring the area. If you are looking for a place to decompress and get out in nature The Other Place is absolutely perfect.”
“We loved The Other Place! Paul was a great host and made sure that we had everything we needed when we arrived. The set-up is great with a nice little covered dining area and propane grill. There was also a propane heater which came in handy as the early fall nights got a little chilly! Our dogs loved running around the site and playing in the creek, which was a short walk from the campsite and an awesome additional place to hang out! We also ended up driving to Prompton Park for some additional hiking. I would definitely recommend staying here!”
“Paul was great at accommodating us at the last minute when my original campsite had caught fire days before my arrival. Luckily we brought our truck because this site is quite off the main road through a bumpy off road path. The site is in a large open pasture field with not a lot of shade but has beautiful sunsets through the trees & hardly any bugs. There is no sun shower, but there was a propane grill & solar lighting. We had to travel to do most things, not a lot to do on property except relax by the campfire after the sun goes down.”
“I give this campsite 10 out of 5 stars. No, really, it’s that good. This was our third Tentrr experience and even though it rained the entire Memorial Day weekend and temps dropped into the low 40’s we had a great experience. Of course it’s all really due to the campsite manager, Paul. He had the site set up with a large tent covering the grill with table and bar stools. We could NOT have survived without the propane heater Paul provided in the tent (which he had to come out in the pouring rain and replace twice due to a damaged tank). The best part for us was the solar panel that provided power to charge our phones, tablets and speaker since we spent most of the time in the tent between rain storms. Paul put aside fire wood before the rain came so when the rain cleared we were able to start an awesome campfire on one night. Our two dogs loved the open fields to run in and we wandered through the woods and open fields which were beautiful even in the rain and mud. We can’t wait to come back to spend more time exploring. The campsite is clean, quiet and very private, we only heard an occasional “moo” from a local cow.”
“This was our second time staying at The Other Place and it was fantastic. Paul was super accomodating, especially seeing as it had rained for several days prior to our trip. The path leading to the site was super muddy and not driveable. We arrived at 8 pm and he drove a few of us up to the site with our stuff in his gator, then let us use the gator the rest of the weekend to haul our friends to and from their cars. Due to the rough condition of the path, the gator got a flat and Paul fixed it immediately for us. Can't express how grateful we were to him for helping us out with that.
He also provided tons of firewood that we utilized all weekend, as it was much colder than we anticipated. He also has a propane heater inside the canvas tent, which worked all weekend and was very toasty!! (we did at one point think it was getting empty but it turns out maybe the gauge is inaccurate? It lasted all weekend despite the needle reading empty)
Can't thank Paul enough for all that he did for us this past weekend. He went above and beyond to help us despite a few setbacks with the weather. We appreciate all the hard work he put into the site and all the accommodations he provided. We look forward to working with Paul again in the future.”
“Beautiful area and very secluded. Hosts were generous with wood and communication. Could not find this spring or pond they said was on the property and problem with many paper wasps that seems to be a known problem.”
“We had such a great time staying at this tentrr site! We have stayed at Tentrr’s before but this spot was by far the cleanest, and most private camping location. We camped with another couple who stayed in the tentrr while we slept on our rooftop tent. Plenty of space for multiple tents! Paul was great! He created a covered bar-like set up with high top chairs that were so useful (especially in the rain). We cannot say enough about this spot!!! Would 100% come back again”
