This space had everything you needed + more. Beautiful space, remote - well maintained. Host was very communicative!

As our first time winter camping we were a little nervous but this by far exceeded our expectations. The thermal bath was soooo lovely and we were able to keep our cabin nice and toasty with the wood stove. The property was beautiful, so much to explore without even leaving our little area. We definitely want to come back in the summer so we can swim in creek!

- Site 5/5 : absolutely beautiful loved the sound of the stream right next to it. Beware though, no cell reception from about 10min out and once it gets dark, it’s pitch black so bring a lamp or some sort of lighting - Finding the site 4/5 : Owner’s direction was accurate but the entrance didn’t really look like an entrance? Maybe because of the leaves and that it was down a steep hill - Tent 0/5 : it honestly was a bit frightening to sleep in because it looked... abandoned? Ended up sleeping in the car - Owner 5/5 : he gave me directions in advance, which was helpful to find the site. Other than that, had no interaction with him (not sure if I was supposed to? I didn’t mind)

The campsite was beautiful. The sound of water in the brook nearby was so calming and served as great white noise at night. The location was perfect but there was no service, we had to drive 8 minutes to the nearby town of Downsville to get some phone service. The only reason this place lost one star was because the location provided does not take you to the actual campsite, we had to drive a further 5 minutes to find the place. The sign was so small and barely legible, you have to go down a dirt road to reach the camp.

We never really saw the camp keeper Dominick as we arrived a bit later in the day, he also never asked if we needed anything.

The campsite was the perfect private getaway, we barely left because we enjoyed it so much! First, it's extremely private and quiet. The site is tented by tall trees which provides shade all day and protects you from the rain. The sound of the creek is really soothing and a great spot to cool down -- look out for all the fun frogs and toads! Dom had just put in a port-a-potty which was clean and much easier than the compostable toilet. Dom stopped by to make sure everything was in order, which we appreciated since there is zero cell service. Thanks for a great weekend and will definitely be back!
