3.5/5 Picturesque site nestled between a ridge (on top of which is a road) and a stream. Overall the site is in good condition, did note some cigarette butts etc on the ground upon arrival. It's entirely shaded so there's not a place to heat up the sun shower (which we found was there, another reviewer said they couldn't locate). You can rinse yourself off in the brook, though! Can get chilly at night, even in August, bring an extra layer. You don't notice car noise because it is a true back road (barely any cars), plus the brook drowns out a lot... except shooting target practice across the road, which happened on sat and sun afternoons and was a bummer! The host did not make an appearance as he did per other reviewers, but that was ok with us, we weren't needing anything. All in all a nice escape from the city. Recommend Russell Brook Falls and surrounding hikes (Trout Pond).

The campsite was in a great location, especially in summer being in such a wooded location it was still comfortable even on a 90 degree day. It's close to hiking, water and cute towns with restaurants. Hearing the brook was relaxing. Dominick was super nice even offering us a blanket since we'd forgotten one. Would definitely stay there again.

This site was awesome! Our only issue was that it was a little bit hard to find. I deducted .5 stars for this. If you were following Google Maps it gets a little tricky since the road it's on technically has two names (depending on the direction you are coming from). There's also no cell service, so linking up with our other campmates for the weekend was a little tricky. That being said, it was nice to disconnect for the weekend and enjoy the outdoors. Being right next to a little stream was a huge plus since it was around 98 degrees when we came. The campsite was clean, no complaints there. The only other things I would have liked were a little step ladder to get onto the Tentrr platform. It's a bit high and at night it was a little tough navigating in the dark. All in all a great trip :)

We had a great time at this beautiful, secluded spot! My one request would be find a flatter spot for the lou, but other than that it was perfect!

Huntley Hollow Brook was a great stay. We were slightly disappointed because the grounds themselves are not too big, there are signs on the tree's that mark the beginning of private property and we wanted to be respectful so we were bound to the camp site unless we left and explored/hiked one of the local trails. We were also slightly thrown off when guys on their ATV's pulled right up to the site and then backed out of the space - apparently there is a trail parallel to the camp site. We found the area comfortable, clean, well prepped and cozy. Dom left our dog some treats and even a toy which was super nice. All in all we really enjoyed our stay, and loved waking up to a running creek/stream.

We really loved staying at Huntley Hollow! They had just had a big storm but it wasn’t too muddy and it was nice because it made the stream little bit bigger. The set up was really nice, being able to listen to the stream when you wake up and go sleep at night. Dom checked on us our first day to make sure we had everything we needed. Our dogs probably had the best time though, exploring and going into the stream. Nice trip away from the city.

The campsite is great and feels very secluded even though there's a road nearby. Dominick never noted he was coming to meet us so we were caught off guard on Sunday when he pulled up to the campsite as we were gathering up to leave a day early. Because the way the campground is situated at the bottom fo a slope, the nonstop rain caused the campsite to become one giant mud/flood zone. We weren't able to locate the sun shower and the door to the food cabinet was broken but these things were minor. We would suggest placing a tarp on the firewood under the canvas tent as the wood was soaked when we got there. Overall, it was a wonderful site and would go again if there's no chance of rain.
