“We had a great experience at this site. Everything as expected and more. Host is very helpful and went above and beyond to help us have a comfortable stay. We all loved visiting the farm animals, too. I will return again in the future.”
“My daughter and I had a lovely stay at Terra Optima. The campsite was secluded but you can drive in and park, which was nice. Everything was in good condition and Cheryl provided a butane stove, super helpful. The ground at the campsite drains well and wasn't muddy at all even though it was raining for a while before we arrived.”
“Cheryl is an absolute gem of a host! The farm and animals are super charming, and the camp site is in a beautiful secluded/forested tract of the farm. Very well appointed and cozy. Couldn’t recommend this site more highly.”
“Cheryl was a wonderful host. She was excellent with communication, and spent time showing our young children around the farm. She was helpful with suggestions of what to do in the area. And, generally went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay, with plenty of dry firewood. Thanks for making our first family camping experience memorable.”
“This is such a great place to stay! Cheryl is accommodating and pleasant. Plenty of space and privacy. We enjoyed taking a look at all of the animals. 10/10 would stay again!”
“Wonderful site and wonderful farm. Beds were very comfortable (bring your own linens/ sleeping bags). The wood stove is no longer there, but they have a cozy propane heater.
The site is private from the farm, you can drive right up. We walked back and forth to the farm several times.
Lots of dry wood, cooking utensils and grate.
We bought breakfast sausage and eggs and cream from the farm.
Cheryl and Mike were great, gracious and accommodating to us and our children. Everything was in good condition and the outhouse was nice
We spent the first night by ourselves for our anniversary and Cheryl left us champagne iced in the tent and gave a recommendation to eat dinner at the Briar Patch just down the road. Great dinner and nice relaxing night under the stars”
