“Had a great 3 night camping trip, courtney and Bryan were great, loaded our gear into a small trailer and helped us up-the walk up isn’t long but with camping gear, cooler and dog in tow the incline would have been exhausting. They also gave us a map of the trails. The camp spot is what it looks like, a giant slab of rock-so while staking down couldn’t happen a few rocks to hold down the corners of the tent worked perfect fine, and the big open space made for some beautiful star gazing at night. My favorite part? The friendliest peacock that visited us multiple times!
Cool, relaxed, barebones spot. Solar shower bag, a giant thing of water, fire wood and the tentrr loo were all provided. Next time I’ll opt out of bringing fishing stuff (weren’t sure the size of the pond-it is small) and instead of bringing any wood first I’d ask if they have extra bundles to purchase, though the last night we found enough small, fallen stuff to have a fire.
Thanks again guys, this was a wonderful little gift to allow us to unplug and “rough” it for a few days!”
“My family and friends had a great time at The Granite Meadows Camp site. The hosts were more than gracious. We enjoyed our tour of the farm, ice cream and smores. The hike to the actual campsite was a long and exhausting one but worth it when you reached the top. Please keep this in mind when deciding how much to bring.”
“Courtney and Bryan were such amazing hosts and their farm is absolutely stunning! The campsite is on a beautiful expanse of rock. When we arrived, the campfire ring was set up and they had even gathered some wood and kindling for us. We received a map of the trails which came in handy when exploring as you basically have 62 acres of forest to yourself! We chose to rent a kayak, and the pond was perfect to hang out, swim, and birdwatch from. Courtney, Bryan, and their cute daughter showed us the barn animals and answered our (many) questions. Overall, we were blown away by the beauty of the property and the kindness of our hosts. Will definitely be returning :)”
