“Pros: A great experience overall. The owners are attentive and response back to any questions quickly. I was in love with the hammock that was position right by the stream. It was so peaceful and great spot to take a nap. The walking trails were great and fun to cross over the stream and getting my toes wet, however it would also have been nice to have some type of stones or bridge to help you cross if you don't want to get your feet or shoes wet. It was nice of them to leave a little goodie back for smore fixings.
Cons or things to know before you book: the bed is very hard, you can feel the bars from the bed frame and it was difficult to position yourself to not feel them. We hardly slept because it was so uncomfortable. I suggest bring a foam topper or blow up mattress to put on top if you like a softer bed. We actually left a day earlier because I just could not do another night sleeping on that bed.
We had no cell reception (Verizon) however if you walk up towards their house we got 1-2 bars.
The road to get to the tent is pretty rough. We were driving a Ford Expedition and we had a hard time, Be forewarned if you are driving a car or small SUV you might bottom out.
Lastly, the tent could use a good cleaning. There was boot prints on the ceiling of the tent, how that could happen I don't know. When we opened up the window tent flaps there was a lot of dirt and some bugs. Also, dirt/mud around the bottom edges of the tent (inside).
Overall, if they could fix the cons I mention (but cellphone reception-that's out of their control) this would be the best thing since sliced bread!”
“We had a wonderful visit! The hosts were responsive and very helpful. They even recognized when we made a wrong turn heading down to the camp site (hours after we arrived and had ran out for some errands) and came out to redirect us without our having to call and ask for help. They were very friendly, the site had everything listed (and more!), and we thoroughly enjoyed our glamping experience without having to do as much of the work as our typical camping trips! You can tell they take pride in their Tentrr space and work hard to keep it well-kept for guests. We will definitely be back!”

The hosts were great and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely stay again the next time we travel through Virginia.”
