The tent was perfect! You get an amazing view of the beach from this site, you can walk down and see the sunset/sunrise. They also provide a fire pit with a grill gate for cooking. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great view and convenient. Had a nice time. Camp Site could use a trimmer.

We absolutely loved our stay at this park and particularly the tent. The views were awesome, the tent large and comfortable, and the view we had at night of the stars was priceless. We will definitely do this again.

The views and tent were spectacular! I went midweek, middle of August 2023. The set up was fantastic. Easy to access from parking lot. The easy path straight from tent to beach was a dream! I loved it and want to go back! Downsides: -No public bathroom besides port-a-potty. There’s a beach bathroom but it was always closed. So no sinks to brush teeth and wash hands. So prepare for that accordingly. -Lots of poison Ivy around. It’s avoidable if you’re very aware and careful. -The tent needs a repair on the strings to tie up on one of the sides. It’s possible to tie up, but difficult. I hope they fix that. Other than those issues, it was a lovely time and perfect location. I was even there through heavy rain and high winds, and while the rain didn’t bother me at all, the wind was nerve racking, but the tent held up! The bug screen is a lifesaver (LOTS of bugs, including biting flies! Be prepared!) Almost a 5 star review. If the downsides were fixed, it would be my #1 camping spot. I love the Tentrr experience and I hope they expand with many more locations in Michigan!

Spent a long weekend on Lake Huron and we had a blast. The tent was clean and larger than we expected. The view from site K was gorgeous, we loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs and watching the water and people on the beach below. We were able to access the beach directly from the site, which was great. Overall, we had a wonderful time, but there were a few drawbacks. First, we had a difficult time getting a good fire going in the provided metal pit,and after a rain it filled up with water. The site is pretty small as well (but it is very secluded, so that was a positive!). We were glad that we decided not to bring the dog because there would not have been a good place to tie her out. Site K also sits up on a hill, which was great for the view, but not nice for bringing camp gear and coolers in and out. The provided wagon did help, but even that was challenging to get up and down the hill (on our last day we found it easier to just carry items back down to the car instead of using it). The closest bathroom is a decent walk, which isn't a huge deal, but there was only one working toilet for only part of the time we were there. Luckily there were also port-a-potties. Overall, the site worked well for us (just a group of 2) and we enjoyed our stay at the park!

Beautiful site. Could see the lake beautifully all weekend!! Instructions were slightly incorrect as to where the site was but we called and they helped me find it right away. I will definitely go back again. I’ve told many friends about Tentrr!!

Our Beachside getaway was terrific. Booking was easy. Directions to access the park and campsite were detailed and helpful. The view was more than amazing. Very relaxing couple of days for me and my wife. Looking for another hidden gem like this to do with the whole family.

We recently stayed at tenter campsite k at sleeper state park. We were shocked at how difficult it was to get to the sight and how difficult it was to get back to the site from the beach. The description of the site when I made the reservation, did not mention this. The bathrooms in the area were not operational. There were Porto potties about a 1/2 mile away and no place to wash hands. If we wanted to use a bathroom, we had to drive across the street and go to the camp bathrooms. The tent itself needs to have some of the ties replaced in order to open it up and use the screen. We used a chair to hold it open. I would also bring an air mattress to set on top of the bed. The view was beautiful and the beach is lovely. I would have liked to know ahead that the climb was so steep and there were no restrooms or hand washing.
