“This site location is amazing! Unfortunately when we arrived, we discovered that the air quality was "very unhealthy" (we had not heard about this before driving there 3 hours from home) and could smell it. Unfortunately because we had already checked in before discovering this, we were only refunded for our second night. We were also a little disappointed by the size of the site--there was definitely not space to set up another tent as we had hoped. The interior carpet was also stained. We wish we could have stayed, though. The view of Lake Huron could not be beat (except, perhaps, without the toxic haze).”
Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. We're so sorry that your stay was impacted by the Canada wildfires. We appreciate your feedback on the surrounding site area, and have contacted the host about doing some clearing to make sure our campers have enough room to set up the extra tent if they wish. Thank you for giving Tentrr a try, and we hope to see you on another camping adventure soon!
Cheers!

“Campsite K has the BEST view- can completely see the lake from inside the Tentrr- highly recommend as it was beautiful and easy access to lake and bathrooms; only downside was the plethora of poison ivy everywhere on the campsite (not just in the woods); our bonus pop-up tents were not up or present when we arrived, but a quick call to the host resolved that issue.”
“Loved the location!, but price a little high for what is basically rustic camping. We actually had two tents-one for the kids. Too many mosquitos and no showers or power. Still, made some memories with campfire s’mores, and sunset and sunrise from our tent!”
“Amazing location and amenities. My advice to future users is to confirm if a code /padlock numberisneeded to unlock/unzip the tent. I wasn't aware of the need for a combination for the combination lock that prevented us from opening the tent zipper. Fortunately, Michigan State Parks were on top of things and we were able to get our code.
Will definitely use this again in the future! Thank you!!”
“This was an excellent glamping site. Good sized hard structure tent with a queen sized cot, deck, 2 chairs, picnic table, storage cabinet, fire pit with grate, sitting on a bluff in the trees overlooking the beach and lake. The parking lot is nearby, and the bathrooms are close too. The only small complaint is the road noise from the cars on 25. But you take the really good with the not so bad. Definitely coming back there.”
