“Loved the welcome message. The site was kinda on a slope I wanna call it (not mentioned) I suffer from vertigo so it was a small hiccup for me. A lot of ticks (I'm a NYC girl so freak out with those) so I kept checking my kids every chance I could. The extra inflatable mattress had a tiny hole and my husband slept on it even with a bad back, but I texted Flea and she bought us a new one for our second night (so much better). Her husband gave us directions of close by point of attractions and were thankful. All in all we had a great stay and my kiddos loved their first time "camping" experience.”
“We had a lovely time. It was our first time glamping so it was a very interesting and fun experience. Tent site was spotless, did not miss a detail, bed was very comfortable, area is secluded. I would probably need to remember to bring linen sheets if it’s summer and sleep masks. Love it! I would do it again!”
“Really nice space. Private and beautiful. Definitely pack cooking gear if you plan to cook (pots, pans, dish-soap,) and pack extra linens and towels. They offer linens and towels for an extra fee but they aren't included in the price of the tent.
The host was very communicative and very nice. Made sure to get us whatever we needed. Great space for a big camping group.”
“Flea was a great host! The recommendations for hiking and food were excellent. Everything was exactly as advertised and very comfortable. There was a pretty good rain storm during our stay but the tent kept us completely dry. Our dog loved the space too :)”

“Big Wood was our first Tentrr experience and was everything we hoped for. The site was well maintained, beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we needed and then some. Our host Flea was awesome. My children (5 and 7) had a great time. We saw deer each morning and they caught fireflies under the moonlight. We have camped a number of times as a family, and this was by far our favorite experience.”
“Loved our stay at Big Wood! The Homestead was lovely and getting syrup, honey, and eggs all from there is such an awesome touch. The actual site was amazing. It was clean and well stocked. We grilled steak and asparagus on the grill, had a campfire roaring (thanks to the Big Wood wood bundles, which are definitely worth the purchase), star watched, and were plenty warm in the tent. We are definitely coming back in the summer!”
