Enjoyed the campfire & admired the stars. 10/10 recommend this for a peaceful and resetting weekend away.”

“A simply awesome trip. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing get-away. Secluded on a small peninsula on a beautiful river/lake, this site is perfect for a small family getaway, with the dogs, or just a couple weekend away. The only sounds to be heard are birds, water, and the occasional water plane. Great nature watching, hiking, and canoeing. Small beach area with shallow, clean water. AND Pat and John are sweet and caring people who are responsive to any question/need you have!”
“This site is absolutely beautiful. John and his family are committed to preserving the land along the river and we were so fortunate to be able to enjoy a piece of their efforts. The site offers equal parts sunshine and shade, a breeze, and an area to swim in. Small details added to the site by John were so clever and made the experience even more enjoyable. For instance, there is a queen bed rather than an air mattress and a separate (clean) bathroom away from the tent. Travelers can leave a lot of their camping gear at home, as the site is well-equipped with lanterns, cooking materials, etc. Just bring blankets and pillows! We (and our three dogs) cannot wait to visit again! Thanks John and family for the most perfect getaway with our dogs!”
