Thank you, Tim! The camp site was beautiful, we had everything we needed, and Tim was the perfect host. He gave us hiking and fishing directions that were very helpful, and we had such a fun weekend!

Tim & Kim were fantastic hosts. The site had a couple of hiking paths and a gorgeous view. We did not leave the side of the mountain for the 2 and 1/2 days we were there. We packed in plenty of food, warm blankets/pillows, towels, a cast iron pan and plates&cooking/eating utensils. That was pretty much all we needed. Tim was also really clear that if we needed anything, don't hesitate to call. We did end up needing more firewood and he and Kim brought it up just in time for us to get the dinner fire going. Perfect. We will probably check out other Tentrr sites next year but will definitely be back to Shady Knowles.

this site is incredible -- it's situated about halfway up a mountain, overlooking a deep valley and other mountains. tim was an amazing host, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. will definitely be returning!

Tim and his son were excellent hosts. Really friendly and helpful and always there in case we needed anything. The camp site is very secluded and has a great view of Sugarloaf Mountain. The site is well equipped with some basic cooking supplies, trash bags, dish pans, soap, foil, and plenty of wood so you really don't need to bring much. Would highly recommend!

The site was great despite a bit of rain. Tim was extremely helpful, met us at the entrance and led us up to the site. Fair warning, 4WD is almost certainly a must. Look forward to returning to this site in the near future.

Absolutely Beautiful place! Stunning morning views and super secluded spot. You will most definitely need a 4wd to get to the site though - well worth it.

My partner, my dog and I had a wonderful time at Shady Knolls. The site was even more beautiful than on the pictures. Sunrise and sunset were just magical times, and we loved the wonderful mountain view we had from the site. Tim was a fantastic host. He made sure we knew how to get to the site and helped us bring all our belongings to the site. He made sure we had everything we needed, including flash lights, water, ample firewood and toilet paper. The tent and the overall site were super clean, and very inviting. It was a little chilly at night, so we really enjoyed having the stove inside the tent - it made for a warm and cosy stay. Tim's property is huge, so the tent site is a really good base to go on hikes. I'd absolutely recommend it and hope to go back sometime soon. I'm not expecting to go back to a 'public' campsite anytime soon!
